The AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) for students who have lost one or both of their parents or those who’s parents are serving/retired armed forces and have been martyred in service. The scheme ensures that such students are not dropping out of education and pursue their technical education without any financial worries for the academic expenses. The scholarship amount will be given to students who are currently pursuing their Diploma or Degree Studies in AICE approved institutions.

This is a central Government Scholarship to support students facing difficult times who have lost one or both their parents. The scholarship wants to encourage and motivate such students to pursue higher education and not be worried about the financial expenses. The scholarship is credited to the students ban account annually in order to help then with the academic expense like books, stationaries, buying technical course related stuff.

AICTE Swanath Scholarship For Technical Diploma
AICTE is implementing the Scheme to encourage and support the orphans, children of parents who have wards perished of Covid-19, martyred of action (Shaheed) were wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces pursue education. It is an effort to provide every such child, a chance to continue his studies and train towards an opportunity successful future by studying in AICTE Approved institutions and courses.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be one of these categories; Orphan, Either or both parents died due to Covid 19, Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed), arent is suffering from critical life threatening disease (Like Cancer etc.)/ Died or severely disabled (above 80%) in accident (as per RPwD Act 2016)
- Annual family income should not exceed Rs.8 lakhs
- The candidate should not be recipient of any other government scholarship.

Financial Benefits
- The eligible students will receive Rs. 50,000 per year as a lump-sum amount
- The scholarship covers major academic expenses.
- No separate amount is provided for hostel fees or medical fees
- The scholarship is provided for entire duration of courses like: 4years for degree courses and 3years for Diploma courses
- Amount is credited directly to the student’s bank account.

Number Of Scholarships
- A maximum of 2,000 scholarships in total including 1000 for degree studies and 1,000 for diploma
Selection process
The selection process is done after the application forms have been verified. The selection is purely merit based;
For degree level: marks in the 10+2 examinations
For Diploma level: marks in class 10th examination
Fresh Registration for AICTE Swanath Scholarship
- The students are requested to visit the official National Scholarship Portal for the registration.
- Click on the “New Registration” option and read the guidelines carefully to ensure that you are eligible for the scheme.

- Enter your details like name, date of birth, etc
- Create your NSP ID and Login PIN
- Now log in to NSP through the ID and Password.

- Select the scholarship you want to apply for
- Click on the application form, fill it very carefully with the details accurately.
- Upload all the required documents then select your AICTE approved institute you are enrolled in.
- Review all the details and submit your application form
Renewal of AICTE Swanath Scholarship
- The students first need to secure their promotion for renewal of this scholarship.
- Login to the National Scholarship portal and click on the “renewal application” option.
- Enter all the academic details accurately
- Upload all the required documents
- The institute will verify your details before passing it for renewal.
- After final verification you will get the scholarship amount in your bank account.
